Nashville recording artists \"Crossfire\" is a four part harmony, band, that performs cover songs by most all your favorite country, rockabilly, blues, and 50s 60s rock artists. Add a little Lynard Skynard, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Santana, and you have the right combination to please any crowd.
We are based in Cape Girardeau, Mo. where we won the City of Roses Music Festival Award for the best Country Band in 1998 and 1999.
We were the entertainers with Dan Seals, for the Kenny Rogers Cerebral Palsy Telethon Kick Off Banquet for 1999, and have appeared on numerous episodes of the Lou Hobb\'s Music Show, on KFVS-TV.
Crossfire has completed their first CD in Nashville Tn, entitled \"Build A better Fire\", which is also the title track to their first release in Europe. \"Build A Better Fire\" shot up to #3 on the European Independent Charts, and stayed in the top 30 for 8 weeks. This was followed by a second release, \"As Lonesome As It Gets\" that went to #7, and remained in the top 30 for 10 weeks. Their third release, \"Drivin\' Me Out Of her Mind\", hit the same charts at # 25, and peaked at #15, and stayed in the top 30 for 6 weeks. Crossfire’s self penned song, “PERFECT” went to number 27.
Their second CD entitled, \"Take The New River Home\" is currently being recorded in Nashville Tn. at this time.
Crossfire performed at the Rockabilly Hall of Fame grand opening, (see photo)in April, with legends Brenda Lee, Buddy Holly’s original Crickets, The Comets, Matt Lucas, Ace cannon, Wanda Jackson, Narvel felts, and many others.
The unique talents of Jason Blanchard (lead guitar, lead vocals), Jason Keesee (rythm guitar, vocals), Clyde Pinnon (drums, vocals), and David Sowers (bass, vocals), is the formula for the fast rising popularity, and sucess of this band.
