For historical purposes we like to leave band information intact even after the band members have moved on to new pursuits. Following is information about The CrossRoads Blues Band.
this band is born after the meeting of some musicians, blues lovers, playing here and there, who finally crossed their Road, resulting in the name of "Cross Road". The band is based in Geneva - Switzerland.
Fred and Doumé at the origin of the band find themselves to share their common love for this style of music called BLUES.
Since a little bit more than 5 years Fred is playing guitar, his favorite instrument. And since one year now is singing in the band.
From his side, Doumé, who has in his old time played with some bands after 10 years of abstinence. He is the president of the association FingerStyle, a blues lovers association based in Geneva - Switzerland. Doumé is actually playing harp in the band and is cooperating closely with Mr. Bonny B. Brown a harp player and the BLUE SCHOOL.
Eric, playing base in the group, "swimm" almost his entire life in the music. Lover of funky music, as well as blues, he has dedicated part of his time to the music and was prior with different bands before joining the CrossRoad Blues band.
Usually helped by Mathias on keyboard, Mathias is owner of a keyboard shop in Geneva. Phil is helping generously the band as drummer. Phil is the official drummer of the Mississipi Mud band.
The Crossroad blues band are visiting all blues standards as well as they can from Muddy Waters, Otis Rush and many others.
