Skydancer consists of a wide spectrum of music. While taking in a show, you will experince overtones with ranges from soul felt Blues, Country, and Rock. While performing, the band emits an aire of soloidarity dedicated soley toward a single overall sound.
The music consists of songs that you just don't hear anymore such as Ain't no Sunhine, Chain of Fools, Take me to the River, King of the Blues, Help the Poor, as well as a large array of music from artist such as Freddie King, Robbin Ford,Robert Cray, SRV, and a ton of original music.
The band is made up of four talented musicians. Most of the lead vocals are sung by Bob Garrison, the drummer. With a style and tone that creates a solid foundation, this element would not be complete without the low round bottom end sounds created by Bassist Jeff Ham. Combined, these two produce as solid of a bottom end as you could ask for. With all sounds projecting from the front mains, guitarist Patrick Huey covers the midrange with a style that creates a fantastic bridge between the foundation and lead guitar, when he himself is not crunching out his soulful licks and haunting refrains on lead guitar. Other guitarist, Dave Summers completes the sound with his Firey hot licks as well as gut wrenching blues. Overall, Skydancer is a little out of the ordinary. Something you just dont want to miss.
Thanks, Patrick.
