Mike "Whisker Fish" Dollins (right) sang for his supper at Bella'z. His band Mike Dollins and The Big Blue Cats were in Northeast Arkansas for Sunday In The Park.
The Little Rock Blues Caravan rolled into town a day early for Sunday In The Park and Brandy at Bella'z in Walnut Ridge invited everyone up for a jam session at her restaurant. So on Saturday night Mike and Jo Ann Dollins, Roy and Sandy McCann and lots of locals made the trip north for some great food and blues.
Once we all arrived at the restaurant Mike and Hairy Larry set up and got the music going. Randy Gambill who plays drums with Hairy Larry in The Mudcats was already there waiting to play. It wasn't long before Sandy and Roy arrived having driven all the way from Fayetteville.
Brandy serves up some tasty chicken, steaks, and burgers and some of the best desserts in the country. So it wasn't long before folks were dropping by for a bite to eat and to enjoy the music. Some of them even enjoyed a little mike time.
