In 1982 I got sucked in by a whirlpool in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, and was deposited 2,000 miles downstream into a sandbar near Clarksdale, Mississippi, got rescued by Johnnie "Mr. Johnnie" Billington, played keyboards with Bobby Little & The Counts of Rhythm, James "Super Chikan" Johnson and the Fighting Cocks. Currently play keyboards and guitar with the Wesley Jefferson Band.
In 1997 I won the Early Wright Award.
