I have to admit to not being surprised at just how killer this live disc from the Beat Daddys actually is. I have had a few of their other releases for some time now and this release is definately the icing on the proverbial cake of blues! With the wah-wah guitar and searing solos, this is extremely emotional and full of all of the things that make a good live band a great live band. The vocals and the tightness of the combo's sound leaves nothing to be desired. In short, these guys brighten up any club, party or concert they play and have done so for years!

I have loved Larry Grisham's stunning guitar work and vocals for a few years now and with the help of Britt Meacham on lead guitar, Lewis Ross on drums and David "Brill" Morris on bass and vocals, they never cease to amaze me with their hot licks and down-home delta inspired stylistic jaunts into modern blues. All of the songs on this release were penned by the band and the disc was recorded at The Breakroom Too on May 9 and 10, 1997 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Do yourself a favor and catch these fellows live sometime if you dare!
