All Right, Larry Donn, the headliner for Blues Fest 94 with half
of his two sided hit "That's What I Call a Ball".  And kicking us
off tonight the other side of Larry Donn's classic 1959 release
"Honeybun".  Then we heard Frank Frost sing "Undertaker" from his
Midnight Prowler CD and John Shepherd sang his song "Worthless"
from the John Craig and Friends cassette.  John Shepherd has
played blues festivals at Memphis and Little Rock and has played
with John Craig at Juanita's.  We are glad to have him back at
Blues Fest 94.  And, of course, we are extremely pleased to bring
you Frank Frost and Sam Carr as our special guests this year.

Here's Larry Donn covering Johnny Cash and Billy Lee Riley both
also from the Jonesboro area.  These songs were originally
released on Sun in the early fifties so here's the Larry Donn
versions which he prepared especially for "Something Blue".

And that's Larry Donn singing "Get Rhythm" and "Flying Saucer
Rock and Roll" both huge hits from Jonesboro area artists in the
early days of Rock and Roll.

Terry Carter and Philip Jackson play with Larry Donn and they
have been instrumental in all four Blues Festivals.  Here's Terry
and Philip singing a Rolling Stones song with Vicious Fish live
at Blues Fest 92.

Yeah, a mini album from Blues Fest 92.  Vicious Fish did "Last
Time"; Larry Donn joined them for "Great Balls of Fire"; and
Aaron Love did his record "I'm Coming Down Mama" and the classic
blues "The Thrill is Gone".

Here's another Jonesboro area artist that goes back to those
Rockabilly Days, Narvel Felts playing a song he wrote about his
life "From Memphis to Malden".

Ridge on Saturday September 3rd.  And then you can see Larry Donn

All Right.  The West Finch Blues Band doing a Sonny Boy
Williamson song, "One Way Out", at Blues Fest 93.  Frank Frost
and Sam Carr used to play with Sonny Boy in the fifties.   We
also heard Sam and Frank do "Just a Dream (Just a Feeling)" from
their "Rockin' the Juke Joint Down" CD.
