This is Hairy Larry and I've got the Blues, for you ... play - Shades of Blue, Temporary Thing play - Shades of Blue, Wild Nights All right, Shades of Blue recorded Live at Blues Fest 98. The Shades of Blue are Mike Cobb, bass; Mike Slater, drums; Creed Slater, guitar, and Aaron Johnson, guitar and vocals. We heard "Time Machine", "Temporary Thing", and "Wild Nights". Shades of Blue closed the first day of Blues Fest 98 on Saturday, September 5th, 1998. And then on Sunday at 1:00 we heard a band featuring ASU students from The Wesley Foundation. They call the band A-State of Grace and they play a mix of rock and gospel with a little bit of R&B and Jazz thrown in. A-State of Grace always gets the audience singing and clapping their hands. At Blues Fest 98 she was joined by guests Paul and Cindy Richardson as well as Jim "The Generator Man" Drennan.
