Craighead Forest Bandshell is located in Craighead Forest Park. To reach the park take the 1B or Southwest Drive exit off of the 63 bypass. Take the frontage road (Parker Road) once you get on 1B or Southwest Drive. Take Culberhouse Road from Parker Road. The park is located off of Culberhouse Road. There are signs for The Nature Center located in the Park along these roads.

Here are detailed instructions for getting to the bandshell. Enter Craighead Forest Park at the Main Entrance. You will come to a stop sign. Turn right and continue until you see a baseball field on your left. Take Access Road 6 just past the ball field. Turn right or left at the Y. Parking is available along either road except right in front of the bandshell.

Angie Owens is a performing songwriter from Bono, Arkansas. Her songs always tell a story. Angie is featured on Delta Boogie Radio. The Wolf Pack Band is a well known country band in this area led by my friend Ricky Lane. They play fifties rock and country standards. Wyatt Bolding used to jam with us at Blues Alley. He's an accomplished songwriter and an entertaining performer.

Jawbone and Jolene drove in last year for the Arkansas Blues Caravan and they liked it so much they're coming back. Their acoustic country blues features standards and originals. Jawbone and Jolene are featured on Delta Boogie Radio. Lynn Childers is a Blues-Rock guitarist who has found his own unique voice. He is also a songwriter who performs mostly originals.

8ght Mile from Paragould, Arkansas has that great country sound everybody loves. They have also played at the Bandshell many times. Shugga Shane has been jamming with us for years. He's also a regular at Guit-Down and an all around talented musician. Snap Crow Legs play everyone's favorites. This acoustic guitar based rock band has a happy, upbeat, sound.

Doug Hendrix is a fine guitarist and a great songwriter. As well as singing his own great material he plays Chet Atkins and many other guitar instrumentals. Doug is featured on Delta Boogie Radio. Chris Harper sings a lot of originals. He puts a lot of humor into his stage act and then touches you with his lyric. Chris is also bringing another songwriter, Mitch Hollifield. Looks like this would be a good day for guest songwriters too. Open mic. Walkons welcome.

Ricky Rooker, Hairy Larry and The Flying Hungarians
