Suzanne Michell and Uncle Fred (the Deadhead) Wilson brought along friend Marvin Swartz for their third Sunday In The Park appearance. The day was packed with musical talent and surprize guests.
Suzanne has that remarkable voice that you love to listen to. She also brought her new Ibanez electric guitar. She finally went electric, can you believe it, and sounded terrific. Her performance included some new originals as well as renditions of her much loved jazz standards from the 40s.
Uncle Fred was in fine form on this day, too. Fred is a talented songwriter as well as a performer. His songs often have a humorous twist or an unexpected side trip.
Marvin Swartz, also from Little Rock, was a welcome addition to the stage at Sunday In The Park. He also performed some of his originals.
Joining in during jam sessions were Hairy Larry, Randy Gambill, Mike Watson, Sandi Sallings, Amanda Gragg, and John Sifford.
