Dr. Kelly holds the Bachelor, Master, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees, all in piano performance, and is professor of Music and coordinator of keyboard activities at Arkansas State University. He has appeared thorughout the eastern two-thirds of the United States in solo and chanmber music recitals, with orchestra and as vocal accompanist for singers such as Elena Nikoliadi, Margaret Kalil, Kay Griffel and Julia Lansford.
Mrs. O'Neal, a native of Wynne, is a piano and organ instructor at Arkansas State University. She is organist for First Presbyterian Church, pianist for the "Over The Hill Gang" Dixieland group, and certification chairperson for the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association.
Dr. Waddle has been at ASU for eighteen years and holds the Bachelor, Master, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in piano performance. He has done postgraduate work at the Fontainebleau Conservatory in France, and has given solo piano recitals in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The trio of pianists will join the Symphony to present Concerto for Three Pianos and Orchestra in F Major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Other selections to be performed include La Belle Helene by Jacques Offenbach, a world premier performance of Firehawk by Gay Holmes Spears, and Raiders March from Raiders of the Lost Ark by John Williams.
Tickets for adults are priced at $16, $14, $10, and $8. Student tickets (through 12th grade) are $10, $8, $5, and $3. Reservations may be made by calling The Foundation of Arts at (870) 935-2726, or may be picked up at The Forum, 115 East Monroe, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Tickets will also be availble at the door one hour prior to the performance.
