We kicked it with the jams, as always. A big shout out to Ziff who jammed with us every week this year.
Mike McLeod was back at Blues Fest jamming along and giving us some great music, Blues and more, on his acoustic guitar and harp on a rack.
Then Will Taylor gave us a set of acoustic music. He was joined by Fred Wilson at the end of his set.
The Mudcats played a set of protest songs including Woody Guthrie's "Tom Joad" and Phil Ochs "Crucifixion". Then Will and Fred sang along on "Blowing In The Wind", "Coconut", and "Hard Times".
Then Uncle Fred performed with his unique humor, singing many songs he wrote. His friend Will Taylor helped him close out the set.
Then John Shepherd kicked out the jams with some incredible electric Blues. His band was hot and he featured several guests during his extra long set. It was a Blues party going on.
Pictured above is John Shepherd. Below, The Mudcats, George Hinds, Fred Wilson, Will Taylor, Hairy Larry, and Randy Gambill on the far right out in the sun.
