Sunday In The Park kicked off on May 18 with a set from The Mudcats. Hairy Larry, George Hinds and Randy Gambill are always crowd pleasers.
Angie Owens who is a regular at Sunday In The Park is an exceptional songwriter and always plays all originals during her performances. Her songs are deeply personal but always ring true to her listeners.
Then Hairy Larry played a set on his acoustic guitar. Larry mixed his originals in with some all time classics playing both kinds of music, country and blues.
Closing out the day was The Wolfpack Band with veteran musicians Ricky Lane on lead guitar and vocals, Freeman Rhodes on rhythm and vocals, Jerry Bell on bass and vocals and Danny Guthrie on drums.
These guys play a great blend of old time rock and roll and country. No matter what your taste in music they will set your toes tapping.
