Bebop Beatniks and Friends at One Love People, January 27, 2017   Kevin Tinker and Jeff Schieble It was a big jazz party at One Love People where we were joined by Jeff Schieble, guest trumpeter and bandleader from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Craig Collison also joined us on vibes and Rev. Rick read "Ying Yo" by Larry Heyl and "Travel" by Edna St. Vincent Millay. Also playing were Alex Washam, drums, Alex Ditto on guitar, Spencer Rawlins, bass, Fred Brown, vocals, and a host of horn players, students from ASU and from Nettleton High. So it was a really big night for Bebop Beatniks playing mostly standards and two Hairy Larry originals, "Parker and Larry" and "Dragonflight". Bebop Beatniks are Kevin Tinker, trumpet; Paul Nunis, bass; and Hairy Larry, piano and vocals. We play as Bebop Beatniks and Friends at local coffeehouses and turn on the jams.
