Jam sessions kicked off the day with Randy Gambill and Hairy Larry hosting. Jim Bishop and many of the scheduled musicians joined in for a spirited set.

8ght Mile was on stage next. These guys are a tough act to follow. Their music is contemporary, crisp and well presented. Jim Keas' vocals are as good as it gets. Frank Brogdon is hands down one of the best fiddle players you'll ever hear and Charlie Cooper is one of the most versatile musicians around. Mike Rudi on bass and Dave Brown on drums provided a rhythm section that was solid and toe tapping good. Also playing with 8ght Mile was Gordon Britt on lead guitar. Britt's lead guitar work is well known in Northeast Arkansas.

Next up was Shugga Shane Chastain. 8ght Mile was hard to follow but Shane was up to the task. He has really developed a class act and he was dead on his chops. Joining him for the performance were Mike Rudi and Dave Brown of 8ght Mile. Also Hairy Larry played some harp and sang some backup.

The final act for the day was Snap Crow Legs. These guys have some fantastic harmony vocals and they play all those old rock and roll songs everybody knows. The group has a laid back style but they don't mind kicking it up a notch to grab the audience's attention. The band is composed of Greg Phillips on guitar and vocals; Matt Horton on acoustic guitar and vocals; Jerry Farris on guitar and vocals; Rich Grippo on bass and vocals; and Nathan Gastineau on drums.
